Rent a Dragon Boat for your crew

ORDQ makes its boats available to outside teams and community groups who already have their own crew and equipment. Every rental supports the club's training and travel.

What You Get
๐Ÿ‰
The boat — that's it

The rental covers use of the boat only. ORDQ does not provide paddles, life jackets, crew, coaching, or on-water supervision — your team is responsible for bringing its own equipment and running its own session safely.

What We Ask From You
๐Ÿ“ธ
Photo of the boat before you go out
๐Ÿ“ธ
Photo of the boat when you return it
โœ๏ธ
Obligation sign-off on every rental
๐Ÿ’ณ
Payment via Fawran

Both photos are required — they record the boat's condition at handover and on return, and a rental isn't closed until both are uploaded.

Terms & Conditions

A few simple rules so that every crew — visiting teams and ORDQ's own paddlers — gets its fair share of the boats and the water. By booking, your team agrees to them.

1. Booking

  1. Every session on an ORDQ boat is booked in advance through your team account and confirmed by an ORDQ officer, normally within 24 hours.
  2. Late requests โ€” anything asked for on the same day โ€” are subject to evaluation. We will accommodate them when the boat and the water allow, but they cannot be promised. Booking ahead is what keeps every team's session, including ORDQ's own training, on schedule.

2. Using the boat

  1. Use the boat only for the session you booked, with the crew you booked it for.
  2. Unannounced use of an ORDQ boat โ€” taking a boat out without a confirmed booking โ€” is charged at 500 QAR.
  3. Photograph the boat before you go out and again when you return it. A rental is not closed until both photos are uploaded.
  4. Your team is responsible for the boat from handover until it is back on the rack, and for any damage in between. Leave it as you found it โ€” clean, drained, and tied down.

3. Payment and cancellation

  1. The rental fee is paid by Fawran to the ORDQ account, and the payment is recorded against your booking by the club.
  2. Once a booking is confirmed, cancelling it is not refundable. The slot was held for you, and by then it has been turned down for others.

4. Sharing the water

  1. Return the boat at the end of your slot so the next crew โ€” an outside team or ORDQ's own โ€” can go out on time.
  2. Treat the equipment, the ORDQ members you meet at the pontoon, and the other teams with the same courtesy you would expect for your own crew. These terms apply to every team equally.

Questions about a booking? Ask an ORDQ officer before the session, not after — we would rather sort it out early.
